Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer

I promised my bestie @mycornerforbooksand that I would read this series and I DID IT! The Last 756 pages in 3 days and I finished the entire Twilight Series. I purchased this book from Amazon to read. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. So in the last book Bella with her love triangle was so grating on my nerves I wasn’t sure I would be able to read book 4. Even in the beginning of book 4 I was anticipating a love affair and a broken Edward. While I couldn’t get behind #teamedward or #teamjacob I could definitely identify with #teamhatebella. I felt like she was making everyone’s life just too messy. While this one ended in a Happily Ever After I fretted it from page 1. Thank you to @k.e.radke and @fawnberrys_books for tolerating all my silly memes and predictions as I read through this last one. Also thank you to @kaylasonlyheart heart for dealing with my daily commentary as I unloaded my thoughts to her daily. Love & Luck by Jenna Evans Welch

I purchased this book from Amazon to read. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Love and Luck by Jenna Evans Welch. In the book Love and Gelato we followed Lina to Italy and fell in love with Ren and Gelato. In Love and Luck we follow Lina’s friend Addie to Ireland with her family on a family trip for her Aunt’s wedding. After the wedding Addie and her brother, Ian are taking a trip to Italy to visit Lina and Ren. Only Ian has other plans and Addie must hold onto her secrets and her brother to get through the summer. But sometimes with a little bit of luck a plan that wasn’t what you thought turns out to be the trip you needed. So Addie and their new friend Rowan follow this little guidebook of Ireland while Ian follows his own path that lead to a concert where everything falls apart or comes together, it doesn’t really matter it was in Ireland. When Squad 312 was assembled from Aurora Academy they were given a simple supply mission but it escalates quickly and this Squad will either learn to pull together or die quickly. Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer

I promised my bestie @mycornerforbooksand that I would read this series. I purchased this book from Amazon. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. Ok real quick cut to the chase Bella absolutely got on my nerves in this book. While the book was packed full of action and less heartbreaking for Bella this time, she is absolutely wrong for dragging both of those boys thought this mess. The love triangle is messy. While I feel sorry for Jacob, I feel he knew from the jump she only wanted to be friends and while I feel angry at Edward for playing the mind games, I feel like maybe she deserves to hurt a little more for her part in all this mess. But looks like I’m onto Book four and Bella is preparing for a wedding. May 2019 Wrap Up

14 books. I also go to meet author Judith B. Pinkard and she was wonderful! We got our new puppy, Sasquatch and I hope in June he will sit still long enough that maybe we can include him in some photos. We also had a preschooler that graduated and registered for kindergarten next school year. What a busy month! I read The Mister by E L James, The Midnight Dance by Nikki Katz, My Absolute Darling by Gabriel Tallent, Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon, Guarded Dreams by L J Evans, Since We Fell by Dennis Lehane, Bible Promises For Moms by Heidi St John, The Invited by Jennifer McMahon, Manhattan Beach by Jennifer Egan, Broken Pieces by Judith B Pinkard, Falling For Fallon by S J Sylvis, and With The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo. I normally strive for 20 books a month, didn’t quite get there this month but great thing is there is always next month! Do you strive for a number goal every month or do you just read without setting goals?

With The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo

I purchased this book from @bookofthemonth to read. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 With The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo. 17 year old Emoni Santiago lives in Philadelphia with her daughter and grandmother. Trying to finish high school and navigate life with friends and an ex boyfriend who is also the baby’s father she struggles. Money is short and what little she has she works so hard to hold onto, but her luck begins to change when the Charter School she goes to offers new electives and one is a culinary class. Emoni’s love for kitchen flavor begins to steer her in directions she never thought she would go. A great coming of age story with a plot and recipes that will keep you turning the page until the end! Broken Pieces by Judith B Pinkard

I purchased this book from Amazon to read. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Broken Pieces by Judith B. Pinkard. Sometimes an author sits down to write a book and it seems like it was written just to touch your soul. This was that book for me. Mental Illness is not something a lot of people understand. People think they could be better if they just tried. Unfortunately, that does not work for everyone. Little Judy struggled from the day she was born with her mother’s illness, whether it was hiding it or ignoring it Judy struggled. Judy’s story reaches into the soul and pulls empathy and love from deep inside you. Sometimes the broken pieces of the world are how you build a stronger you!
