The Wicked King By Holly Black

I purchased this book from Half Priced Books to read with my bestie @mycornerforbooksand. All opinions are my own. πŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸ‘‘The Wicked KingπŸ‘‘ by Holly Black. Ok so given the title I knew Cardan was a jerk and he was a jerk in book 1 but I had high hopes because Jude had him bound by Faerie rules, and for a while she held her own as strong willed Jude does. However, in a moment of weakness following her capture, feeling lovesick, and her twin sister being the cruelest sister in the galaxy she was duped yet again. Now Cardan sits on his throne and she is sorting her next plan of action. All I can say is The Roach and The Bomb better have a plan cause life is about to get real in Faerie! I was so mad at the end of this one I almost threw the book…..almost, but I have to save it because book 3 comes out in January, so it will sit on my shelf until then. The Wrong Guys by Tom Wells and Richard A Leo

My husband purchased this book for me from Amazon to read. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟The Wrong Guys by Tom Wells and Richard A. Leo. OH MY GOODNESS I CAN’T EVEN TELL YOU HOW SCREWED UP THIS BOOK IS! One murder/rape victim is found by her husband in their apartment after he returns home from cruise. The neighbors, the cops, the husband, his family, no one had any clue what was going on but once Investigator Ford is handed the case 8 men will be arrested and all 8 will confess but thing is, only one of them could have done it only one DNA sample matched. So why were 5 of them convicted? Because there is no system that could have saved them. After hours of interrogation forced confessions kept 4 innocent people in prison for more than 7 years. This case is the biggest injustice of the judicial system I have ever seen. I can not believe this is impossible. My Family’s Survival by Aviva Gat

I purchased this book from Amazon to read. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 My Family’s Survival by Aviva Gat. This Historical book was an amazing tale of survival during WWII. While everyone has heard stories of the Jews of Germany and the horrors they survived there were so many more countries with so many more Jews that no one who didn’t experience it would think it was unreal. This family not only survived, they stayed together. David and his wife Honda, their three children, Abi, Sarah, and Yossi, with David’s sister Rachel managed to stay one step ahead of the Nazis. Beginning in a small village called Butla in Poland, through Hungary, and Romania they hold onto one another for strength and survival when the times get rough. This incredible true story is how the Schwartz family managed to survive and thrive during the war. It is a story of true luck and true faith in family.
