Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult

I purchased this book from Amazon to read with Well Read Ladies Bookclub. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult. The emotions in this book range from happy to sad to angry to happy all at once. One baby’s death opens doors into people’s lives no one ever thought about in depth. A grieving white supremacist father trying to prove to his grieving wife that their child will be remembered. A white defense attorney that swears she isn’t prejudiced and needs to win her first big trial. A black labor and delivery nurse defending her life by choices she made doing the same thing she has done for 20 years and still trying to raise her teenage son that’s struggling to figure out where he fits into the mess that has been created in their world. I did not know this was based on a true story when I started this book so when I did more research I was astonished.
