The Demonic Compendium by David Viergutz

I purchased this book from Amazon to read. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The Demonic Compendium by David Viergutz. This epic, dark fantasy surprised me. First, I had to look up the definition of Compendium because…..well, I had no idea! It makes sense though! Shaw, the only true prince sets out to avenge his family and claim his throne. Which seemed like a dauntful task but not impossible, at least before the demonic army attacks, then it seems like the battle for good vs. evil or right vs. wrong becomes unclear. Suddenly a death wish feels like the right thing. Viergutz takes us into a world where the lines of right vs. wrong becomes so blurred you have no idea what choice is best. I was able to invest in the characters and found myself rooting for a love story I never saw coming. Review also posted on Instagram @borenbooks, Library Thing, Twitter @jason_stacie, Facebook, Goodreads/StacieBoren, Amazon, and my blog at readsbystacie.com
