I received this book as a gift from my bestie, Christina. All opinions are my own. ππππ Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore. The first few chapters of this book were confusing the story mixed with the flower references and the back story it’s hard to see if it’s magic or witchery but if you read past it the story just blossoms and blooms until you don’t need to understand the mystery, you just need answers and it all will come together for you. Everything is symbolic the trinkets, the people, the description of flowers, the abilities, the dresses and colors but inside all of it the writing was wonderfully descriptive. La Pradera is a strange garden fed by the Nomeolvides women for generations. The land holds them and they hold it together but when garden sends them a boy from long ago all of their lives will change forever. Romance blooms, love steals, and hearts bloom. The motto of this book is Love grows such strange things, and thats so true.
