I purchased this book from Amazon to read. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The Gown by Jennifer Robson. In 1947 after WWII ended all of London, all of England really pinned their hopes on a Royal Wedding the marriage of Princess Elizabeth. But for a few young women their hopes were upon the gown that would make that day magical. During these trying times men were shady and their motives were even shadier, it isn’t until the granddaughter of one of those dressmakers is grown that the secrets behind that gown, that country, those men, are even brought to late. Robson has a way of making the war seem so far away and yet so close it feels like yesterday.
