I checked out this book from the local library to read with #modernmrsdarcy Bookclub. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Harry’s Trees by Jon Cohen. How do you take life’s tragedies and make them magical adventures? You find a Birch tree in Pennsylvania, a little girl, and a book that should not have existed and you watch the magic unfold before your very eyes. This book is beautifully well written and very descriptive of any kind of tree you can think of and oh the tragedy in this book is so heart wrenching. The idea of saving a public library and a little girl with magical dreams in a different way was refreshing. I just didn’t love it. At times I felt the book would just go on and on with no ending. Other times I felt I was sure I was almost done with it. All in all I enjoyed the reading experience just didn’t fall head over heels for the book. Licensed Vocational Nurse for Special Needs Pediatrics turned stay at home mom. I have enjoyed reading for as long as I can remember. I will read anything from children's books, novels, short stories, and even instruction manuals! I am a true book nerd. View all posts by Stacie Boren
