Jackaby by William Ritter

I purchased this book from Amazon to read with my bestie @mycornerforbooksand. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Jackaby by William Ritter. This book was different, at first I thought oh great another Sherlock Holmes…….it so was not. Jackaby is a character all his own. His snippy over the top comments border rudeness but will leave you laughing at his bluntness. Abigail fits into his world nicely while stumbling through her own acts of rebellion. Together the make up a team that will uncover the underworld right here despite the comments and glares from others in town. New Fiddleham is a place you feel you can escape to without ever leaving home, it was so wonderfully described you could step out of your back door and simply be there.
