Circe by Madeline Miller

I purchased this book from @bookofthemonth to read with my bestie @mycornerforbooksand. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌟Circe by Madeline Miller. This one started out slow but immediately picks up after Chapter 5 and becomes one of those books you can not put down. Circe is a goddess not one that is respected but daughter of Helios nonetheless. She is hated by her siblings, her mother, and even when you think her father is on her side……wait for it. She lives on and on surviving decade after decade and even growing into her newly discovered talent she longs for something out of her realm. This book reminds me of a female Percy Jackson meets Female Castaway story. If you give this one a chance you will not be disappointed.
