Thanks to @kidlitexchange for the review copy of this book. All opinions are my own. Princess Pulverizer: Grilled Cheeses and Dragons by Nancy Krulik. This chapter book has cute illustrations and simple to read vocabulary. πππππPrincess Serena doesn’t want to go to princess school to learn tea parties and dancing, she wants to go to Knight School to rescue damsels in distress and slay dragons. Her father refuses until the princess convinces him to strike a deal with her. Eight good deeds must be preformed and then he will let her go to Knight School. So she’s off but good deeds are not easy, she gets yelled at and forced to run and then trapped by an Ogre. Then the Ogre traps a knight and a dragon with smelly breath and things just get really complicated, but she has the Queen’s jewels she rescued for good deed #1. Now she must find a way out (with the dragon’s help) she is able to move on to find more good deeds to do and win her way to Knight School.
