I purchased this book from Amazon to read with @saltwaterreads. All opinions are my own. The Way of Beauty by Camille Di Maio. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A wonderful tale of the power of a woman’s mind and heart. The power of a woman’s mind and heart unfolds in this wonderful work of historical fiction. Vera is the daughter of Geman immigrants and has fallen head over heels for the Italian newspaper boy and her heart is torn between love and friendship as New York City begins to involve the hustle and bustle of Penn Station. Vera chases dreams that will secure a future for her daughter Alice, and later a grandaughter Libby. While chasing dreams, all three woman learn in life you, live, love, and lose, but only true love is constant and must be held onto. There were moments in this book when I cried and moments when I laughed, this is not a book I would normally read, but I was captured from page one.
