I chose this book from @bookofthemonth in March because the cover is so beautiful why would you not pick it? It was also book 4 for my #totalcoverlover readathon list. πΌ Rainbirds by Clarissa Goenawan. πππππ Ren is called from Tokyo to attend to his sister’s death. A murder. Her personal life was very private and more complicated as Rem begins to unfold pieces of it, but in unfolding the pieces he thought he knew about her he unlocks secrets in several families in this small town and finds answers to questions he never thought to ask. The twists in this book unlock before you even realize the plot was changing. It is beautifully written. Review also posted on Instagram @borenbooks, Library Thing, Go Read, Goodreads/StacieBoren, Amazon, Twitter @jason_stacie and my blog at readsbystacie.com
