π‘I borrowed this book from the local library to read. π‘All opinions are my own. Only Child by Rhiannon Navin πππππ All the stars for this wonderful read! After a tragic, personal event an entire community is overwhelmed with grief and confusion. One first grader, Zach and his family are especially greif-sticken and each one of them lashes out in a different way. Dad dives right back into work, Mom searches for revenge/justice, and 6 year old Zach secludes himself and lashes out when things don’t work the way he expects. It’s only until Zach puts a Magic Tree House mission in motion that the family begins to grieve together and heal together. This is exactly the read I thrive for! I was pulled into the read quickly and it was super hard to put down. Licensed Vocational Nurse for Special Needs Pediatrics turned stay at home mom. I have enjoyed reading for as long as I can remember. I will read anything from children's books, novels, short stories, and even instruction manuals! I am a true book nerd. View all posts by Stacie Boren
