No Saints In Kansas by Amy Brashear

@kidlitexchange #partner ☕ Thank you to #kidlitexchange for sharing the review copy of this book. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟No Saints In Kansas by Amy Brashear. In 1959 in small town Kansas an entire family is murdered. Carly was already an outsider but as the investigation begins their first suspect in the murder is someone Carly believes is innocent. She goes on an investigation of her own and soon discovers secrets that will only push her further outside the circle than she already is. And it becomes even worse when her father, one of the only defense attorneys around is appointed to defend an alleged murderer. I loved the nostalgia of this book the older model cars, the preceding of JFKs time as a Senator before announcing he would run for President. A captivating read from the beginning.
