Noah Webster’s Fighting Words by Tracy Nelson Maurer

@kidlitexchange #partnerโœ’ Thank you to #kidlitexchange for sharing the review copy of this book. Noah Webster’s Fighting Words by Tracy Nelson Maurer. ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸWho knew Noah Webster had such a wonderful place in American History? As a very opinionated child Noah learns and reads and convinces his parents to allow him to go to Yale at age 15. After that he spends his life fighting for American language and American education and after many years created the first American Dictionary which is still printed today with new words added every edition, the way he always thought it should be. This book actually contains a character as Noah that edits what is written. A cute way to get young readers involved in the generations before them that formed America. โœ’โœ’โœ’โœ’โœ’Review also posted on Instagram @jasonnstacie, Library Thing, Goodreads/StacieBoren, Go Read, and Amazon.
