I purchased this book from Half Priced Books. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman. Ove is a man that has no reason to be involved in other people’s affairs and wants no one involved in his affairs until one day a noisy young family moves in next door to him. Then slowly but surely old wounds mend and new friendships give him a reason to want more from life. Ove hates authority, hates dogs, hates people who own dogs and refuses to speak to anyone that doesn’t drive a Saab. But soon learns being alone isn’t really alone when you’ve lived in the same home for more than 40 years. This book has its moments to make you laugh out loud and the moments that make you want to scream. It is a lot of fun to learn the story of Ove. It took me a while to read because I had one project or another to deal with but today I am happy to say it is finished. 🤣 Review also posted on Instagram @jasonnstacie, Library Thing, Go Read, Amazon, and Goodreads/StacieBoren.

Licensed Vocational Nurse for Special Needs Pediatrics turned stay at home mom. I have enjoyed reading for as long as I can remember. I will read anything from children's books, novels, short stories, and even instruction manuals! I am a true book nerd. View all posts by Stacie Boren
