I received this book from #kidlitexchange to read in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. πππππ The Princess and The Page by Christina Farley. Keira lives in a house with so many rules that seem absolutely ridiculous and cruel, until one day she finds a pen. With a list and her pen she finds escape and even manages to have one of the criminals arrested. After a long journey she learns she comes from a long line of word weavers. In a story contest Kiera learns the magic of a pen is tricky. The words light up and become glowing embers revealing truth at every letter. Keira needs to solve the mystery of her Mom and the pen that’s making just as much good magic and bad magic happen. Sometimes happy endings arent exactly the way the are written. This story is fit for a princess on a rescue mission for everyone she loves with pen and paper as her only defense. What starts out as a fairytale can spin into trouble when you are a Word Weaver. Licensed Vocational Nurse for Special Needs Pediatrics turned stay at home mom. I have enjoyed reading for as long as I can remember. I will read anything from children's books, novels, short stories, and even instruction manuals! I am a true book nerd. View all posts by Stacie Boren
