I purchased a book from @ablinddatewithabook and received The Killer Inside Me by Jim Thompson. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟I love these! You never know what you are going to get and it’s fun. This one was dark. Small town Texas deputy sheriff, Lou Ford is a serial murderer and he lets you in his head and every crazy thought he has. There is not a lot of guts and gore but you receive enough detail to know exactly how things began and ended. In the beginning he is liked by most people in the town and comes from family with roots in Central City, Texas. This one grabbed me because I was born and raised in small town Texas. Being able to relate to the gossip machine created in small towns made this read that much better for me. Review also posted on Instagram @jasonnstacie, Goodreads/StacieBoren, and Library Thing.

Licensed Vocational Nurse for Special Needs Pediatrics turned stay at home mom. I have enjoyed reading for as long as I can remember. I will read anything from children's books, novels, short stories, and even instruction manuals! I am a true book nerd. View all posts by Stacie Boren
